The art series
An ongoing series of aquarelles. Each painting measures 10 × 13 cm — a deliberate contrast to the scale of the subject: a large residential complex in Vienna. Each one becomes a label; each label becomes a jar.
About
No Restraining is a one-person project based in Oslo. The preserves are made in small batches — never more than a dozen jars — using seasonal fruit, real ingredients, and whatever combination of flavors seems right at the time. The paintings come first; the jars follow.
Each batch is tied to one original aquarelle. You get the jar; the painting stays on file. Future collectors' editions may include the original.
No reprint. No second batch. When the inventory bar hits zero, that painting-flavour combination is retired permanently.
Seasonal fruit (Norwegian when possible), cane sugar, citric acid, and occasionally spice. No pectin powder. No filler. No polite flavors.
405 mL glass jars (~400g net content). Label printed on matte stock to match the quality of the original artwork.
Produce and consume locally. Share unique taste experience. Support creativity. Do not aim for profit but spirit. Feed any profit back into activities or organizations fostering societal wellbeing.
